With over 25 years experience in Law Enforcement and Security starting with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department then onto creating William Bower Associates Inc, Bower Security and Event Support Services Inc.  William Bower has succeeded in meeting the needs of his clients while extending his enthusiasm and knowledge of security business to his employees. As an entrepreneur William Bower recognized the need for quality professional security services and understood that the application of his Law Enforcement experience coupled with a strong customer service ethic and a positive attitude would result in a successful business in the civilian marketplace.

Dennis Byerly – Controller/Security Consultant...

For over thirty years Dennis has been involved in the security industry, starting with his twenty years in the US Army as an Executive Protection Specialist, High Clearance Diplomatic Courier, Security Management Advisor and as an auditor Investigator in matters concerning the loss or compromise of government secrets in Europe. After Dennis’s discharge from the Army he continued his education and his career in the security business working from an Account Manager to a Vice President position with American Protective Services, Pinkerton/Burns/Securitas.

Dennis brings to Bower Security a wealth of experience and knowledge to support the growth of the company its employees.

David South - Account Manager/Branch Manager ...

A security professional for over 30 years, David has worked from the streets of Los Angeles to the halls of the White House. Beginning his career as an Explorer with the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department, then enlisting into the United States Marine Corps where he became a MP and was then selected to be part of the Presidential support team. 

As a manager David excels with his communication skills, his ability to interface with local police departments and his leadership abilities to manage large numbers of personnel on events like the World Ag Expo, Pacific Life Open or the Coachella Music Festival.

Steve Serna - Sentry Capitain ...

With over 15 years experience in law enforcement and security Steve conveys his vision and motivation to his staff overcoming the typical negative connotations of security companies, elevating Bower Security to be the best and most professional security company available. Steve leads by example while implementing his vision of functioning similar to a police department, enabling Bower Security to provide clients with an alternative to traditional law enforcement. As Sentry Capitan Steve brings out the best in his staff by treating them with respect and understanding, while sharing his experience and instilling pride in their presentation and their jobs.

Ron Ayala - ...

For over thirty years Ron has been involved in law enforcement, security and investigations. Starting with a 13-year career in the Los Angeles Sheriffs department with the Special Investigations Bureau conducting undercover/covert investigations involving domestic and international terrorists, individuals and organizations.  Also assisting United States Secret Service and United States Department of State with armed Executive Protection Service for U.S. Presidents and Foreign Heads of State, including Presidents Gerald Ford, Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan, and Prime Ministers of Israel Menahem Begin and Shimon Peres, and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat. Ron’s career then moved to Trademark and Copyright infringement investigation and prosecution with the Record Industry Association of America.

EDUCATION:

  • Completion of Washington State Instructors Field Combat course for M-4 Assault Rifle and semi-automatic handgun.
  • Completion of Anti-Terrorist Counter-Assault tactics course including weapons use, IED detection and Hand-to-Hand combat on land and marine based assignments.
